Mark your calendars for Oct. 18-22 and get ready for the 22nd annual A Shopping SPREE

 SPREE! will be returning to the RBC Center, which provides easy access from the highway, plenty of close parking and space for all of our wonderful exhibitors.  There will be many special events for you to enjoy, including a new coffee event on Saturday morning.  In addition, Carolina Color Gallery is returning with its local-flavored art work; remember, all proceeds go directly to the Junior League of Raleigh. Get ready for some great shopping – we can’t wait to see you there!   

A Shopping SPREE ! regular shopping hours:

Thursday, Oct. 19: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 20: 9:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 21: 10:00 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 22 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

A Shopping SPREE! special events:

Preview Gala
Wednesday, Oct. 18, 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.

This premier event gives you the first chance to shop the exciting array of unique exhibitors.  Enjoy cocktails, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, and music while strolling the avenues and boulevards lined with shops!  Don’t forget your checkbook and competitive spirit for the fabulous silent auction.  Enjoy this wonderful evening for $50 (ticket price includes complimentary beer and wine). A cash bar will be available for mixed drinks.

Fabulous Silent Auction
The jewel of our Preview Gala, the Silent Auction is a wonderful opportunity to purchase items from North Carolina ’s finest businesses while raising funds for the JLR.  The Silent Auction gives you an opportunity to compete for more than 100 fabulous items, from fashionable jewelry to exciting vacation getaways.  The Silent Auction offers something for everyone.

Early Morning Shopping
Thursday, Oct. 19, 8:30 a.m. – 11 a.m

Enjoy breakfast while getting an early start on your shopping.  This is an excellent event to browse in a stroller-free environment. Tickets are $25.

NEW EVENT!  Saturday Morning Coffee
Saturday, Oct. 21, 8:30 a.m. – 10 a.m.

Can’t make the Thursday morning Early Morning Shopping event or just want another opportunity to shop without all the crowds and strollers?  This event is for you!  Come sip and shop early on Saturday. Tickets are $15.

> Carolina Artists - The Junior League is seeking applications for artists wishing to sell their work at the 2006 A Shopping SPREE!. Artists with works priced between $50 and $400 are encouraged to apply! We have limited space for pottery and other unique art. Click here to download an application. A Shopping SPREE! brings 100 unique exhibitors from around the country to Raleigh for a four-day shopping fundraiser. Proceeds benefit at-risk youth programs supported by The Junior League of Raleigh. Within the last three years alone, the Junior League has given over $750,000 and 150,000 volunteer hours to organizations such as SAFEchild, StepUp Ministry, the Boys & Girls Club of Wake County, Girls on the Run, Heritage Park Community Learning Center and Guardian Ad Litem.
