WHO WE ARE

Women Powered. Community Focused.
For more than 95 years, the Junior League of Raleigh has developed women leaders who strengthen Wake County through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.
As a local chapter of the Association of Junior Leagues International, the Junior League of Raleigh is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Our purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
Powered by more than 1,200 members, the Junior League of Raleigh partners with nonprofit organizations, schools, and community leaders to address the evolving needs of women, children, and families throughout Wake County. Through hands-on service, strategic philanthropy, leadership development, advocacy, and community partnerships, our members invest their time, talents, and resources to create lasting change.
From supporting nonprofit partners with trained volunteers to awarding Legacy Grants, hosting family-centered community events, and preparing women to lead both within the League and throughout the nonprofit sector, the Junior League of Raleigh is committed to building stronger leaders and stronger communities.
Grounded in nearly a century of service and united by a shared commitment to meaningful community impact, we continue to empower women whose leadership creates lasting change across Wake County.
Commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging
The Junior League of Raleigh welcomes all women who live and identify as women and who value our mission of advancing women’s leadership for meaningful community impact.
We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where individuals of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives are respected, valued, and empowered to contribute. By embracing diversity, advancing equity, cultivating belonging, and building meaningful partnerships, we strengthen our organization, enrich our communities, and expand our collective impact throughout Wake County.
