Find the Placement That’s Right for You
Serve Where Your Passion Meets Purpose.
Every year, Active Members select a placement that allows them to grow their skills while advancing the League’s mission.
Whether you’re interested in working directly with community partners or helping lead the organization behind the scenes, every placement contributes to the success of the Junior League of Raleigh.
Members have opportunities to serve in a variety of ways.
Community Partnerships
Work alongside nonprofit organizations throughout Wake County that are creating meaningful change for women, children, and families. From literacy initiatives and food security programs to youth development and community outreach, our members support organizations making a lasting difference.
League Leadership
Help shape the future of the Junior League of Raleigh by serving on committees, councils, strategic initiatives, or the Board of Directors. Members have opportunities to lead teams, manage projects, develop programs, oversee budgets, and help guide the League’s vision.
Signature Fundraising Events
Support the League’s signature fundraising events—including Touch-A-Truck® and A Shopping SPREE!—which generate critical funding for leadership development, community programs, and Legacy Grants that strengthen Wake County.
Every placement contributes to something bigger than itself.
Together, our members create meaningful community impact while developing valuable leadership skills that extend far beyond the League.

- Serve on the Board of Directors.
- Mentor new members.
- Lead strategic League initiatives.
- Represent the Junior League of Raleigh throughout the community.
Every leadership opportunity strengthens your confidence, expands your skills, and prepares you to lead—in the League, in your career, and throughout the community.
Find Your Community
More Than Membership.
The Junior League of Raleigh is built on leadership—but it’s sustained by connection.
Some of the most meaningful experiences happen outside of committee meetings.
Throughout the year, members come together through:
- Book Club
- Affinity Groups
- Networking events
- Leadership conferences
- Volunteer opportunities
- Social gatherings
- Fellowship events
- Family-friendly activities
- Member celebrations
These opportunities help foster genuine friendships, strengthen professional networks, and create a welcoming community where women encourage and support one another through every stage of life.
Because when women invest in one another, extraordinary things happen.
Your League Journey Evolves With You
Life changes—and your League experience can change with it.
