LIFE AS AN ACTIVE MEMBER
Leadership That Lasts
Completing the New Member Experience is only the beginning.
As an Active Member, you will choose an annual placement aligned with your interests, talents and goals while continuing to grow as a leader and community volunteer.
Every placement offers something different, but each contributes to our shared mission of advancing women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration and training.
Community Partnerships
Members work alongside nonprofit organizations serving women, children and families throughout Wake County.
Through these partnerships, members can participate in direct service, support community programming, strengthen nonprofit capacity and learn more about the issues affecting our region.
Community placements allow members to see the impact of their service while developing meaningful relationships with fellow volunteers and community partners.
