The Junior League of Raleigh is proud to be a member of The Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. (AJLI), connecting our members to a powerful network of women and Junior Leagues working to create meaningful change in communities around the world.

Each Junior League responds to the unique needs of its own community while sharing a common commitment to developing women leaders and creating meaningful community impact.

While every Junior League serves its own community, our connection through AJLI gives us the strength of a shared mission, collective experience and international network.

AJLI supports Junior Leagues with resources, guidance, training and leadership development opportunities that help Leagues and their members grow and evolve.

JLR members also have opportunities to participate in AJLI conferences, leadership development programs and training experiences that connect them with League members and leaders from across the Junior League movement.

Through this connection, Junior League of Raleigh members are part of a broader network of women developing the skills, relationships and experience to lead meaningful change within their communities and beyond.

Our Place in the Junior League Movement

The Junior Guild of Raleigh became a member of the Association of Junior Leagues International in 1930, officially becoming the Junior League of Raleigh.

That moment connected JLR to a larger movement of women committed to developing their leadership and putting it to work in their communities.

In 2030, the Junior League of Raleigh will celebrate 100 years as part of the Junior League movement, an extraordinary milestone in our history and an opportunity to honor the generations of women who have carried our mission forward.
