The Association of Junior Leagues International
Local Impact. International Connection.
The Junior League of Raleigh is proud to be a member of The Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. (AJLI), connecting our members to a powerful network of women and Junior Leagues working to create meaningful change in communities around the world.
The Junior League movement brings together more than 295 individual Leagues, each responding to the unique needs of its community while sharing a common commitment to developing women leaders and creating lasting community impact.
For JLR members, that means our work in Raleigh and Wake County is part of something much larger.
The Power of Association
While every Junior League serves its own community, our connection through AJLI gives us the strength of a shared mission, collective experience, and international network.
AJLI supports individual Junior Leagues in fulfilling The Junior League mission and provides resources, guidance, training, and leadership development opportunities that help Leagues and their members grow and evolve.
Through this connection, Junior League of Raleigh members are part of a broader movement of women developing the skills, relationships, and experience to lead meaningful change—both within their local communities and beyond.
One Mission. Many Communities.
The Junior League’s strength lies in the ability of individual Leagues to understand their communities and respond in ways that create meaningful local impact.
Here in Raleigh, our members put that mission into action through volunteer service, leadership development, collaboration, training, philanthropy, and partnerships throughout our community.
At the same time, our membership in AJLI connects JLR to the knowledge, experience, and collective strength of Junior Leagues around the world.
Our work is local. Our connection is international. Our commitment to developing women leaders is shared.
