The Junior League of Raleigh Teen Leadership Board is designed to empower high school students across Wake County through leadership development, community service, mentorship, and hands-on learning opportunities.

This unique program helps students build confidence, strengthen leadership skills, and make a meaningful difference in their communities while connecting with other motivated young leaders.

Whether you’re passionate about giving back, developing new skills, or making new friends who share your commitment to service, the Teen Leadership Board offers an opportunity to grow as both a leader and a community advocate.

As a Teen Leadership Board member, you’ll:

What You’ll Experience

Leadership Development

Participate in workshops and seminars designed to strengthen leadership skills, build confidence, and encourage personal growth.

Community Service

Work alongside local organizations and community partners through volunteer projects that promote civic engagement and meaningful service.

Mentorship

Receive guidance and encouragement from experienced Junior League of Raleigh members and community leaders.

Skill Building

Develop practical life skills through activities focused on communication, teamwork, collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving.


Who Should Apply?

The Teen Leadership Board is open to:

? High school students

? Rising 9th–12th graders

? Wake County residents

? Students interested in leadership, volunteerism, and community impact

No prior leadership experience is required—just a desire to learn, serve, and grow.
