The Junior League of Raleigh Announces the 40th Anniversary of A Shopping SPREE!

The Junior League of Raleigh (JLR) is pleased to announce its  40th annual A Shopping SPREE! (SPREE!) will take place Thursday, November 21 through  Sunday, November 24, 2024. Presented by First Citizens Bank and hosted at the Raleigh  Convention Center, this premier holiday shopping event is dedicated to raising money for  nonprofit programs and community service initiatives in Wake County.

Throughout the four-day event, shoppers can find more than 130 specially curated local and  national vendors. Right on time for the holidays, attendees will shop the latest in fashion, home  decor trends, specialty foods, unique gifts and holiday merchandise. The main stage will feature  local school choirs, dance groups and the JLR chorus throughout the week.

“Over the last 40 years, the Junior League of Raleigh’s A Shopping SPREE! has become a  holiday tradition that gives back to our local community, directly,” said Laura Barnes, president  of the Junior League of Raleigh. “SPREE! has helped the League raise hundreds of thousands  of dollars for programs and grants while developing and demonstrating the power of women’s  leadership and voluntarism. We are excited to return to the Raleigh Convention Center to  provide shoppers with the premier shopping event they have looked forward to every year for  four decades.”
