The Junior League of Raleigh is a Wake Up and Read Book Drive donation partner for another year.

We are collecting new and gently-read books for babies up to children 12 years old for WAKE Up and Read until March 18.

WAKE Up and Read is a community coalition committed to ensuring each and every child–regardless of race, ethnicity, and socio-economic status–is reading on grade level by the end of 3rd grade. WUAR believes that literacy is a right and all children need access to high-quality books. A donation bin is located in the entrance vestibule at the entrance at the Julia Jones Daniels Center for Community Leadership (CCL).
