The MOST Amazing Race! | July 1 Registration Begins

The MOST Amazing Race is on Saturday, August 20. Registration open July 1! The MOST Amazing Race is a community event to benefit The Salvation Army’s Community Center’s programs for at risk youth. The day attracts active students and professionals between the ages of 20-45 that fundraise in order to participate in challenges and compete for a grand prize of $2500! Much like the television show, The Amazing Race, teams of two will compete in a scavenger-hunt race with various mental and physical challenges throughout downtown Raleigh.

Each year this event has continued to grow, and because of our sponsors and community partners we have been able to raise over $70,000 for our Community Center, allowing us to continue offering afterschool care and summer camps to underprivileged youth, as well as, athletic programs and scholarships throughout the year. The Community Center programs provide a safe and positive environment for children to learn more about God, meet new friends and become more self-sufficient. The many activities focus on developing a child’s mind, body and spirit…but to the kids, it’s all just fun and games!
