The second annual JLR Literary Event was held at the Progress Energy Center for Performing Arts in the Fletcher Opera Theatre on April 10, 2007. Tom Wolfe, noted throughout literary circles as an astute observer of American society, was the premier author. Mr. Wolfe entertained the audience with his anecdotes on American life and his inspiration for writing. Books were available for sale and personalization throughout the evening.
