The
Junior League of Raleigh's more than 1,850 members serve the Wake
County area with programs of education and
volunteer service. We have contributed more than 206,000 volunteer
hours since 2000. Since 1930, we have contributed more than $4.8
million to community projects and programs focusing on education,
health, women's and children's
services.
The League reaches out to women of all races,
religions and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and
commitment to voluntarism. Our major purpose is to provide trained
volunteer resources to community initiatives within Wake County.
We
are a member-based organization of women with a three-fold mission:
