The Center for Community Leadership offers an invaluable
tool for the community. With expanded facilities and meeting space,
this building will ensure that when leaders, organizations and citizens
come to the table to discuss important issues, they have a supportive
place to do so.
But, the building alone can't bring change. It's
the interaction, idea sharing and resources within that will help
to transform our community.
Our hope is to include the following:
- Training Room - A large
room, seating 150 people, which can also be divided for use
by smaller groups.
- Board Rooms - Two generous
rooms, each providing meeting space for a board of up to 20
individuals.
- Volunteer Workroom - A flexible
space equipped with worktables and appropriate for multiple
activities, including preparing mailings and executing special
projects.
- Living Room - A comfortable
living room setting, available for more casual or intimate meetings.
- Catering Kitchen - A professional-grade
kitchen for preparation of refreshments for meetings and events.
- Children's Playroom - A special
space for visiting children to have safe fun. We understand
the importance of family and challenges of scheduling.
- Junior League of Raleigh Administrative
Offices - Designated areas housing the Junior League
of Raleigh administrative functions, including fundraising and
publications. By including League headquarters space in The
Center for Community Leadership, local non-profit organizations
and citizen leaders can conveniently access the League's expertise
and resources.
- Ample Parking - Convenient
space for community member and visitor vehicles.
