In the League
Team Kids on the Block would like to invite all Junior League of Raleigh members, their families and friends to attend a dress rehearsal puppet performance at the Julia Jones Daniels Center for Community Leadership (711 Hillsborough Street) from 4 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, January 3rd. This is a great opportunity to come see the team in action and show your support. An essential part of the program is the Q&A session at the end of certain skits, so your children’s participation in this dialogue will be helpful as the team enters their 2016 performance season. The performance will begin promptly at 4 p.m., please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to start time. This event is best suited for elementary school children and will explore important topics such as disabilities, bullying and healthy eating. We hope to see you there!
SUSTAINERS: THINGS TO REMEMBER
Sustainer NCMA Escher Tour & Lunch – Sign up now – only 7 spots remaining!
Don’t miss this special event! On January 8 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. join Sustainers at the North Carolina Museum of Art for a docent-led tour of The Worlds of M. C. Escher exhibit. This event is open to Sustainers only and limited to 20 attendees. The $25 cost, which includes lunch, tax, tips and tour docent fee, is payable upon event registration. Online RSVP via the JLR website is required and runs through 5:00 p.m. December 30. Due to the varying costs of the NCMA exhibit ticket prices (NCMA member, non-member, senior), attendees must purchase your exhibit ticket for the January 8 11:30 a.m. time slot directly from the NCMA museum box office before December 30. We highly recommend purchasing your tickets immediately after completing the JLR Online RSVP. JLR & NCMA refund/exchange policies apply.
