The Junior League of Raleigh Hosts 39^th Annual A Shopping SPREE!     

The Junior League of Raleigh’s (JLR) popular holiday tradition is back, offering a unique shopping experience while raising money for nonprofit programs and community service initiatives in Wake County. A Shopping SPREE! will host dozens of regional and national exhibitors at the Jim Graham Building at the NC State Fairgrounds Nov. 30-Dec. 3.

Join us for the Creative Corner which will host four author talks, book sales, and signings. Bestselling, award-winning author Kristy Woodson Harvey will be at SPREE on Friday, December 1, from 3:00-7:00 p.m. in the Jim Graham Building at the NC State Fairgrounds. Kristy will speak and answer questions during the Happy Hour, 5:00-7:00 p.m. Bailey’s will sponsor a romantic raffle and Quail Ridge will sell her books on-site. JLR recruitment events

Recruitment for the provisional class of 2024-25 begins this fall. Events happen monthly through March and include socials, virtual meetings, volunteer opportunities, and donation drives.

• September 27th – Ice Cream Social at Pullen Park at 6:00 pm
• October 4th – Information Session at CCL at 6:30 pm

Does your nonprofit or agency need help with a short-term project or event?  The Junior League of Raleigh’s Quick Impact team can help! Quick Impact provides trained JLR volunteers for one-time projects or events that can be completed in a short period – generally one day or less.

Team School Success works to support and further the academic and personal development of students in grades K-12, to eliminate barriers to their achievement and to help prepare them for life success. This team supports AventWest Children’s Mentoring, Brentwood Boys & Girls Club, Heritage Park and Note in the Pocket.
