Lots of community friends ask the Junior League of Raleigh to perform short, one-time projects for them. Team Quick Impact is a group of League volunteers dedicated to performing these short-term projects.
In 2006-2007, Quick Impact volunteers gave 295 volunteer hours to 35 different community projects. Past projects have included:
- Staffing walks and golf tournaments
- Wrapping gifts for a local museum gift shop during the holidays
- Ringing the bell for the Salvation Army
- Addressing annual campaign mailers
- Providing assistance for several black tie galas
- Picking up and delivering books for Project Enlightenment’s book drive
