Team Chorus

The Junior League of Raleigh Chorus consists of about 20 women who bring many talents to this community placement. From September to May, our singing volunteers meet Wednesday mornings to read notes and rehearse lyrics.

Once our performance schedule is finalized, our volunteers drive the roads of Raleigh. Our performances delight community members who receive care in assisted-living facilities, retirement communities, and senior centers. Singing is great therapy — both for our members and for our community audiences.

Our holiday performances have included “A Little Night of Caroling” for StepUP Ministry and Team AWCM in addition to our regular gigs. Our spring performances are known for romantic lyrics from the Sensational Sixties with Sandy Page’s touch of humor woven into each song’s introduction.
